Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to My Tutor Time! My name is Alexa Ghadiry-Tavi, alumni of the University of Alberta's Secondary Education Program. While beginning my teaching career, I came to understand that one-on-one, individualized learning offers more than a place to learn, it's where dreamers are born! I have put all of my knowledge, experiences and learning to work, with the hope and success of building a place where kids can grow, learn and reach for the stars in a non-traditional classroom setting. 

As I continue building a team of dedicated tutors, I am constantly searching for individuals who strive to instill confidence and curiosity into the minds of each student they work with. In my eyes, this is the single greatest role an educator has, and I firmly believe that each and every one of the tutors who are a part of this team go above and beyond to ensure this for every one of their students. 

To the many students who have become a part of the My Tutor Time family: you're each beyond special and unique; you've each taught us something and hold a place in our hearts. Reach for the stars, always ask questions, and execute projects, big or small, with determination and tenacity.  You are the ones who inspire me to continue developing and growing this company.

Education is, and will be forever, evolving in practice and theory; I see my job as a way to bring those resources and methods to students in a more efficient, practical, personable, and meaningful way.
